You Know it Don’t Come Easy.

There are times in a every nation, that the bell will be rung, and the big question is who will answer the call.  Right now, we the people cannot rely on our elected leaders to answer the bell.  They are a bunch of cowards who mostly onlt answer to their corporate masters.  How is it possible that every piece of legislation appears to go against the people.  The law of large numbers does dictate that at some point there will be something that works in our favor.

You Know it Don’t Come Easy.

These are the times that we must answer that call.  How do we go about impeaching a President that has not kept any of his major campaign promises?

He was elected by the people to end the wars. I can go on to youtube and search for Obama+take that to the bank, and you will find the results of what I speak.  What seems to be forgotten in this, is that McCain was the one promising to continue the two illegal wars.  This was no small campaign promise that got him elected, and the people are mad, there is a growing undercurrent of anger, as we see more and more of us “slaves” lose our jobs, get kicked out of our homes by the banks.

Bankers on Wall street in the fall of 2008 destroyed what was left of financial network.  The amount of debt that we are dealing with is a number so large it can not be comprehended.  To attempt to explain what the idiot Bush, and his henchmen did, is more of a complex description than I can muster, or even understand myself.  The underpinning and glue that holds our country together is gone. Go ask that crook Hank Paulson.  He masterminded the idea that the banks on Wall Street were “too big to fail” was the ultimate crime, and no one is doing any time for robbing the country of over $800 Billion dollars.

For far too long we have been on the wrong path, and we must get straightened out.  Do I have all the solutions? Hell No.  I wish I could waved the magic wand and make the troubles disappear. I am not sure if it is because I am a father, but I feel this empathy for those who are most unfortunate in the world.  But we must take care of our own first.

The banks are the most hated sector in the world.  The IMF has totally bankrupted Europe.  What has gone under reported is the destruction of Greece. I was caught in this totally encompassing idea of including all these wonderful links that show what I am talking about. I said to myself, fuck no.  If you the reader doubt what I am telling you here, go look it the fuck up yourself.

The banks were too big to fail, yet the individual homeowners who were left with mortgages that were spiraling out of control, were the ones who were “too small and we will fuck them”.  And that was exactly what happened.  Go drive around and take a look at the homes that have the foreclosure or for sale sign on the front yard.  These poor people who were suckered in, by crooked bankers, are left out in the cold, with no money, no home, and with more and more, no job. I do not know why this has happened, but we have to fight back at some point. I saw reports that the bankers were mass mailing, mass calling, and offering the new loans that were too good to be true.  When you are in desperate times, and someone there who has the name “Bank of America” calls and appears to offer you a way out, well, the drowning man takes the hand to save his family.  There were “mortgage officers” at BOA who were processing over 5,000 applications a day.  They had no incentive to double check the references, or the income, they were paid by the amount of loans processed.  These are the criminals, yet they go unpunished. Look it up.

We seem to care more about the family in Iraq or Afghanistan, than we care about our own.  How come the life of someone in Libya seems to take precedence over the life a small child in Lincoln Nebraska?  Our President goes on the air, and talks about “humanitarian” aid the we “must” give to the people of Libya.  How about the father of 3 in East St. Louis that just lost his job, because 3M must cut costs to make 16 cents a share instead of 13 cents. Corporate greed is running rampant, and has for quite some time, and that has to be reversed.  It seems to me that if we can solve the needs of the American citizens first, that will go towards solving our problems much faster than attempting to be the big bully of the world.
